I can’t thank Echelon Scholars enough for everything they’ve done for my son. Giving a high school student the chance to doreal research is rare on its own, but spending over a year meetingwith him almost every single week is truly above and beyond. They didn't just guide him through tough engineering problems, theye taught him how to think like a true researcher and helped him reach theamazing goal of getting his paper accepted by IEEE. His mentor had a real gift for making complex ideas easy to understand and buildingconfidence in young minds. He is an incredible mentor who made a genuine, lasting impact on my son.

Going into this program, I only held a vague idea of what research actually meant. I didn't exactly know what I was doing, but I had a real passion and interest to discover more. The way this program is structured really helped me not only write my own paper, but truly understand what research actually means. Every step was so clear with "learning prior to doing," which shifted the focus to my own growth and knowledge rather than just blatantly getting things done. At first, I had to learn how to find and read research papers for the first time, and after that, getting into data sets was eye-opening, you just don't get an opportunity like this anywhere else in your high school career. It was wonderful to work at my own pace and tap into something entirely new. When it came to writing, the mentorship and scaffolding were amazing. My mentor helped direct me toward answers without just showing them to me, leaving room for me to explore my own learning. Watching my research paper grow from start to end was a process of total transformation, and I am so proud of what I achieved and incredibly grateful for this opportunity.

As a parent, it's been really special to watch Sameeksh go through this experience. I’ve watched him spend long hours working on the research, often from the sidelines, and it's been wonderful to see his commitment, curiosity, and confidence develop throughout the process. I’m sure the guidance and encouragement he received from you played a big part in making this an enriching experience for him. Seeing him take a research project all the way through to a completed postgraduate-level paper and submission has been incredibly rewarding, and we’re truly grateful for the opportunity and support you’ve given him.

My experience with Echelon Scholars was exceptional. I was given an incredible opportunity to publish high quality and meaningful research in high school with an independent initiative and amazing staff to help me whenever I required it. Pranav and the rest of the staff are amazing and I wouldn't trade my experience for anything!

My name is Noah Khoo, and I went through the full curriculum of Echelon Scholars. I truly believe that Echelon Scholars is worth it. The mentors are experts at what they do, and they make sure to guide you throughout the whole experience. Still, you as the scholar are doing all the research. It is a wonderful step into the world of research, something that I would have probably never done without Echelon. For those looking for an opportunity to conduct graduate level research, Echelon Scholars is the place to go. 

My research experience was both exciting and productive. With consistent support and encouragement, I developed a much stronger understanding of the research process and gained the confidence to carry out each stage independently. Submitting my paper to a Springer Nature journal was a meaningful milestone and made the work I put into the project feel especially worthwhile. The experience also broadened my understanding of the field and helped me think more clearly about my academic interests and future goals.

Echelon Scholars gave me the opportunity to experience the full research process, from working through an open-ended question and interpreting unexpected results to developing the work into a complete paper for submission to an IEEE conference. I especially appreciated that your guidance went beyond simply improving the paper; our conversations helped me become more deliberate about how I evaluate research, explain my findings, and think about the broader direction of my academic interests. Completing a project of this depth while still in high school was incredibly meaningful, and I came away from the program with both a stronger technical foundation and much more confidence as an independent researcher.

Honestly, when Arnav first told me he wanted to write a real research paper, I did not think it would actually happen. But I had confidence he'd find a way to push through. During the technical phase, I watched him work harder than I expected, leaving his computer running for multiple nights just to collect the model data. What surprised me most was how deeply he came to understand such a technical topic. Seeing him actually submit that paper, after everything I watched him put into it, was a great feeling.

Working with Echelon and Pranav pushed me to take my research seriously in a way I hadn't before. Going from early experiment results to a fully revised, submission-ready paper taught me how much rigor real research writing demands, and having someone push back on my drafts round after round made the final version strongerthan anything could have written alone.Submitting a paper to a peer-reviewed IEEE venue as a high schooler felt like a real milestone, and the process shaped how I think about my academic direction going forward. Beyond the paper itself, our conversations about research and plans gave me a clearer sense of where I want to take this.

This program has been an exceptional experience for our child. The mentor provided clear guidance, thoughtful feedback, and steady encouragement while giving our child the independence to take genuine ownership of the research and writing process.
